We're building a vibrant community where all ages thrive with strong social bonds, lifelong care, and innovative programmes adding life to years, not just years to life.
Focusing on 6 key areas, we work closely with residents and partners to co-develop solutions and measure their impact, ensuring a supportive and inclusive community.
The Baseline Study is a cornerstone of the Health District @ Queenstown initiative, designed to better understand the needs, challenges, and aspirations of our vibrant community.
As Singapore's public housing authority, the Housing & Development Board (HDB) plans and develops housing estates to provide quality, affordable homes and a well-designed living environment for all. Beyond housing, HDB builds commercial, recreational, and social amenities within its towns to support residents' daily needs.
Over the past 60 years, more than 1 million flats have been completed in 24 towns and 3 estates across the island.
As a key partner in Health District @ Queenstown, HDB collaborates with NUS, NUHS and other stakeholders to develop science-based solutions for the built environment. These efforts aim to anticipate future needs and enhance homes and public spaces to better support residents' well-being.
This initiative aligns with HDB's 'Designing for Life' roadmap, introduced in 2020. Under its 'Live Well' pillar, HDB aims to implement targeted solutions that provide residents with opportunities to lead healthy lifestyles, keep active minds, and build strong bonds with the community.
