We're building a vibrant community where all ages thrive with strong social bonds, lifelong care, and innovative programmes adding life to years, not just years to life.
Focusing on 6 key areas, we work closely with residents and partners to co-develop solutions and measure their impact, ensuring a supportive and inclusive community.
The Baseline Study is a cornerstone of the Health District @ Queenstown initiative, designed to better understand the needs, challenges, and aspirations of our vibrant community.
Singapore’s flagship university, the National University of Singapore (NUS) brings together academics, researchers, staff, students and alumni to drive innovation and meaningful change.
NUS adopts a multidisciplinary approach which combines its expertise in areas such as health and medical sciences, economics, technology, social sciences, and public policy to develop solutions that promote healthy living and enhance the well-being of residents in Health District @ Queenstown and beyond.
By bridging research and industry collaboration, NUS applies insights from Singapore’s Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2025 Plan to key areas such as health, urban sustainability, digital technology, and economic development. These evidence-based insights help shape effective, science-backed interventions to encourage health-seeking behaviours and social connections in Health District @ Queenstown.
NUS also provides students with hands-on learning experiences, enabling them to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges and see the impact of interdisciplinary education in action. In getting students involved in community engagement projects and addressing important social causes, NUS seeks to nurture individuals who have the skills, knowledge and heart to make a difference.
