True to its spirit of co-creation, the name "Come 4 Tea Lah!" was chosen through a naming competition. Inspired by its location at Block 40 (“4Tea”), this community-driven name was selected from nearly 70 resident submissions.
The development of this hub was made possible with support from the Widjaja family.
Come 4 Tea Lah! is an inclusive space where Queenstown residents can learn, connect, and contribute to the community.
Developed through focus group discussions with residents, this initiative is a collaboration between the NUS Centre for Population Health, the Department of Architecture at NUS College of Design and Engineering, the Housing & Development Board, ARC Studio Architecture + Urbanism, and Moderna Homes.

Beyond hosting workshops, events, and consultation sessions, Come 4 Tea Lah! will be jointly staffed by volunteers and members of the Health District @ Queenstown team. The space will also serve as a testbed for innovative programmes that, if successful, can be expanded to other estates.
